Wisconsin | PRN Contract Opportunity | Flexible Schedule

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Compounding Pharmacist for a contract opportunity with a respected healthcare organization in Wisconsin. This position offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for pharmacists seeking supplemental income, PRN work, or additional weekend coverage opportunities.

Position Highlights
  • 13-week contract assignment - possible extensions
  • Approximately 16 hours per week
  • Weekend coverage and PTO coverage responsibilities
  • Additional on-call opportunities available
  • $1,000 retention bonus available after 30 days of employment*

Schedule
  • Two scheduled weekend shifts per month
  • Weekend hours: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Weekday coverage hours may vary based on operational needs
  • Additional on-call responsibilities available during non-business hours
Responsibilities
  • Review and dispense prescribed medications
  • Compound medications according to established pharmacy standards
  • Ensure medication safety, accuracy, and compliance
  • Provide patient counseling and medication education
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals
  • Monitor medication therapy and identify potential drug-related concerns
  • Maintain pharmacy records and inventory
  • Support pharmacy operations and supervise support staff as needed
Qualifications
  • Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
  • Compounding experience preferred
  • Previous on-call or after-hours pharmacy experience preferred
