Job description

Reedsburg Area Medical Center is currently hiring a Per Diem retail pharmacist!
Hours: 7:30 A.M. - 7:30 P.M. Weekdays
Weekend: 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Shift: Varies, Rotating weekends and holidays
Hours will vary based on need

RAMC Outpatient Pharmacy Pharmacist provides services for discharge and ambulatory patients.
Providing Medication Therapy Management Services, immunizations, precepting of pharmacy students,
patient counseling and education, support for our 340B program, and providing leadership for all pharmacy
staff.
Education and Training Required:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree.
Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency training program is preferred.
Working knowledge of clinic-based operations (vaccinations, medication sampling, supply requirements,
etc.) preferred.
Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in the State of Wisconsin.
BLS certified.
Experience:
One year of clinical patient care.
Three (3) years of retail, institutional, community hospital, or an ASHP-accredited residency training
program is preferred.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to learn computer and application skills as applicable to role.
Ability to interact with and work well with people.
Ability to make sound decisions in demanding situation.
Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to listen empathetically.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent walking, standing, sitting, reaching, manual/fine dexterity, grasping, and hearing-close
distance.
Occasional bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling and squatting.
Occasional ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 50 pounds.
