About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist Manager for a 24-week contract assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role requires strong inpatient pharmacy leadership, clinical pharmacy knowledge, regulatory compliance experience, and hands-on Epic experience.
Responsibilities
Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations and daily workflow
Ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapy
Maintain formulary, medication storage, supply, and controlled substance accountability
Supervise pharmacy staff, schedules, performance, and department needs
Support policy development, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with clinical teams and hospital leadership
Step in as Staff Pharmacist when needed
Maintain accurate documentation and competency records
Requirements
Active Colorado Pharmacy license in good standing required
PharmD required
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required
Epic experience required
Minimum 3 years of pharmacy experience required
Demonstrated leadership in pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy services
Current AHA BLS certification required
Current AHA ACLS certification required
Strong regulatory knowledge, clinical judgment, communication, and teaching skills required
Must be willing to fill in evenings, overnights, or weekends if staffing needs arise
Flu vaccine required with no exemptions accepted during required season
Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
