Job description

RGNext employees execute and report on theater and strategic offensive and defensive ballistic missile testing and support space situational awareness operations and experiments, using a wide array of highly sophisticated radar, telemetry and optical sensors to meet the needs of our nation in defending the United States and its interests.

This overseas position is located on Roi-Namur, on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. It is an unaccompanied position (no family accommodations or pets). Benefits of this unique location include free housing, three meals a day and potential for overseas tax incentives.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate, schedule and publish ALTAIR operations & maintenance activities weekly.
  • Interface with other departments to coordinate radar activities.
  • Primary Point of Contact (POC) for the ALTAIR secure area.
  • Primary POC for equipment calibration activities; coordinate with Calibration Lab to send/receive test equipment that requires routine calibration. Maintain equipment calibration database.
  • Perform duties as required of the property custodian for certain property accounts
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance procedures and run system diagnostic software.
  • Update preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and corrective maintenance tracking database.
  • Provide administrative support to receiver, transmitter, and antenna teams to include mission data capture and packaging for customers
  • Support customers by preparing systems for mission execution and operations.
  • Provide occasional weekend coverage for transmitter operations as well as occasional odd shifts (early morning or late night) to support mission requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Associate degree or technical school in electronics, IT or related field, or experience in lieu of education.
  • Two (2) years of technical experience working with technical computer systems such as avionics, communications, radars, data modeling or control systems.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.)
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively with considerable latitude but also follow established processes and procedures.
  • Ability to follow Company safety policies, procedures and programs.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team with a common goal.
  • Good oral and written communication.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Must be able to relocate to the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support projects or mission requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with building and/or terminating cables such as BNC, N type RF cables, semi-rigid coax, Heliax coax and soldering.
  • Working knowledge of MATLAB, MAXIMO, Python, VBA or LINUX computer systems.
