Job description

DESCRIPTION:

This is an opportunity for individuals to be part of a quality food service program, providing meals to both school children and senior citizens.  Employee(s) will assist food service duties and fill in during employee absences.
 

Job Summary:

  • Duties include food delivery, meal serving, stock, general clean-up
  • Non-Union Position
  • $14.50 per hour
  • Employment via third party staffing company, PCMI
  • Approximately six (6) hours per day, Monday through Friday
  • No nights, weekend or holiday work 

Physical Duties:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to withstand excessive bending, twisting and lifting
  • Ability to reach and lift over the head as well as in and out of hot ovens while preparing food
  • Must be able to tolerate standing up to 7 hours per day, with a 10 min break provided after 3 hours

Personal Requirements:

  • Must possess even temperament and ability to comprehend and carry out the objectives of the position in a way conducive to good personal relationships, including good judgment, good moral character, and personal cleanliness; being courteous, neat, cooperative, tactful, dependable, honest, and loyal.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduate; or high school equivalency diploma
  • ServSafe Certification preferred, but not required
  • Valid Driver's License
