Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid work model that allows therapists to work both remotely and in our beautifully designed outpatient offices in the Cicero area. Our facilities are thoughtfully laid out to promote a calm and therapeutic environment for both clients and staff. Monday through Friday work hours are standard, with optional weekend opportunities, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our administrative staff provides comprehensive support to ensure you can focus primarily on client care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Urban Arc Psychiatry Clinic, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health challenges and create tailored treatment plans.
• Providing individual therapy using evidence-based techniques to foster personal growth and emotional wellness.
• Collaborating with colleagues through regular staff meetings and group supervision sessions, sharing insights and strategies to elevate clinical practice.
• Setting therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients and consistently tracking their progress toward these objectives.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state regulations and clinic policies.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults as well as children and adolescents. Your expertise in both individual and couples therapy will allow you to address a variety of issues, including relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your ability to connect with clients and understand their unique situations will be instrumental in fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship that drives positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LMFT license in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant mental health discipline is required; a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to adult and/or child-client populations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an aptitude for establishing rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Advanced proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting.
• Training or certifications in specific therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $101,000, commensurate with experience and including opportunities for performance-based bonuses. Additionally, we offer:
