Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all drywall and paint activities on multifamily new construction sites.
Lead field crews and subcontractors to ensure performance, safety, and quality meet company standards.
Interpret project plans and schedules; communicate scope expectations clearly to field personnel.
Conduct regular site walks to monitor workmanship, progress, and compliance.
Ensure adherence to safety procedures and OSHA regulations at all times.
Track materials, equipment, and manpower to optimize productivity and workflow.
Collaborate with Project Managers to stay on schedule and within budget.
Generate daily and weekly reports detailing jobsite progress and issues.
Resolve field-related issues, punch list items, and change orders in a timely manner.
Foster strong relationships with general contractors, site superintendents, and other trade partners.
Travel between job sites as required.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of field supervision experience in drywall and/or paint, preferably within multifamily construction.
Strong expertise in installation sequencing, quality control, and safety enforcement.
Ability to manage multiple subcontractor teams and schedules across large projects.
Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting construction schedules.
Experience using construction technology platforms and reporting tools.
Familiarity with OSHA standards and jobsite safety compliance.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly between project sites.
