DESCRIPTION
Pete Pappas & Sons, Inc. is a fourth generation owned and operated re-packer and wholesaler of fresh fruit and vegetables, specializing in tomatoes and strawberries. We have openings for CDL Class A no restrictions, can drive automatic and manual transmission. Must be flexible with off-hour dispatches and weekends required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safe and legal operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
  • Delivery of produce to local customers.
  • Operate controls for loading and unloading products.
  • Proper handling and accurate completion of all necessary paperwork related to truck operation and product movement.
  • Professional representation of Pete Pappas & Sons Inc., through responsible driving and personal appearance.
  • Compliance with customer and/or vendor safety and delivery requirements.
  • Promptly report any delays that effect pickup or delivery of products.
  • Inspect truck for defects and safe operational condition before during and after trips. Report defects.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move product weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, push and pull.
  • Valid CDL A and DOT Medical Certification required.
