Job Title: Industrial Network & Electrical Technician
Department: (IT Department)
Location: Reedley, CA - (for Central California based candidates only)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Industrial Network & Electrical Technician to support operations within our packing and production facilities. This role plays a key part in maintaining the infrastructure that keeps our packing lines, equipment, and systems running efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of electrical and networking concepts, be hands-on, and comfortable working in an active agricultural/industrial environment. Experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network cabling including Cat6, fiber optic, and trunk cables across packing lines and facility infrastructure
  • Perform structured cable management to ensure clean, safe, and organized installations
  • Assist with setup and troubleshooting of PLC communications and pack line systems
  • Work with and understand AC/DC voltage systems in an industrial environment
  • Apply basic electrical principles, including Ohm's Law, when diagnosing issues
  • Support network and IT systems used in production (workstations, printers, scanners, etc.)
  • Follow detailed instructions, layouts, and build standards for installations
  • Work flexible shifts to support production schedules, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and IT teams to minimize downtime on packing lines
  • Assist with infrastructure projects such as running new lines, expanding networks, and upgrading equipment

Qualifications
Required:
  • Basic understanding of:
    • AC/DC voltage
    • Ohm's Law
    • Networking fundamentals
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including non-standard hours

Preferred (but not required):
  • Experience with:
    • PLC systems and industrial communications
    • Running and terminating Cat6 and fiber optic cabling
    • Industrial or agricultural production environments
    • Cable routing in large facilities or along production lines
