Packer - Unloading the dehydrator • Unracking and quality assurance of cooked product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complies with the company's safety policies and abides by all federal and state regulations
  • Unloading the dehydrator
  • Unracking and quality assurance of cooked product
  • Run product through slicer and sort for quality assurance
  • Run bagger machine to dispense product
  • Dispense product in bags
  • Weigh the bags to meet company specification
  • Seal the bags and ensure proper vacuum per company standards
  • Preparing product for shipping
  • Palletize and deliver to warehouse
  • Safety sensitive in accordance with OSHA guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Functions:

  • Able to stand/walk 8 to 9 hours a day
  • Bend/stoop, squat, twist, reach above shoulder frequently, stack, and kneel
  • Must be able to lift or carry up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to push or pull a cart up to 60 pounds
  • Work in an environment with various odors
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends
  • Must be able to work in hot and dry environment up to 130 degrees occasionally and up to 80 degrees frequently. These areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
