Job description

We are in the process of building out our Creative Services team and seeking graphic designers whounderstandcommercial, consumer-friendly design butare not afraid to push and elevate when it comes to pitch decks, brand books, logo design, packaging design, and more! Designers who can work quickly and accurately and are comfortable bringing their ideas to the table, as well as executing ideas from clients. The team will be managing multiple deadlines and projects across a variety of industries and deliverable types.

Please note you do NOT need to know coding, this is strictly for layout/creative assets.

We will be looking to bring people on in a temp to perm capacity wherever possible and seeking Graphic Designer levels

In order to be considered, you must be able to commute to our office in NYC Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday each week.

About You:

  • Are passionate about graphic design and brand identity and are consistently trying to find new ways to express ideas visually.
  • Love to work collaboratively in a group and have an innate willingness to dig in and contribute with your team. You're a great note taker and aren't afraid to ask clarifying questions.
  • Under the direction of the Creative Director, you are solution oriented but also comfortable taking direction and executing when necessary.
  • Have an elevated taste level: can execute compelling visual assets, understand visual identity, and packaging experience.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Support licensing team with creation of sales collateral, brand books, style guides, and presentations, mostly created in powerpoint.
  • Find ways to tell a brand story in presentation mediums such as PowerPoint in unique and innovative ways.
  • Develop logos for new brands where applicable or refresh existing logos.
  • Create packaging designs andguidelinesfor specific brands.
  • Build out style guides based on specific brand identity.
  • Develop graphics and signs for expos.
  • Create digital assets for marketing.
  • Create and/or work with existingdie lines, existing design files, and style guides to develop production-ready designs.
  • Brainstorm with creative team to develop design concepts, gather research, and build mood boards.
  • Maintain, organize, and update digital brand assets on server.
  • Ability to worksimultaneously on multiple projects,manage timelines,and meet deadlines.
  • Communicate with senior team members to receive feedback.
  • Liaising effectively with other departmentssuch as new business, licensing, and marketing.
  • Comfortable building websites on platforms like Wix or Squarespace.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing, Graphics or related discipline
  • Portfolio of design work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proficiency in Figma.
  • Fluent in Mac platform
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint,MS Office, Apple Keynote
  • Strong eye for design
  • Team player with strong communication skills & good attitude
  • Ability to pick up concepts and brand voice easily
  • Ability to learn on thejoband adapt to work needs quickly and efficiently in fast-paced setting on multiple projects- agility and flexibility is key.
  • Time management skills & ability to meet project deadlines
  • The ability to see projects through from inception toproduction with excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team
  • The motivation to maintain and improve design standards
  • The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
  • Ability to present new ideas to team and management.
  • Experience with 3D rendering
