We offer:
  • Three weekly round trip runs between south Atlanta and the I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando
  • 100% No Touch Freight
  • Primarily Drop and Hook on both ends
  • Set, weekly schedules. No layovers if not required by HOS. (we keep the drivers moving)
  • Home 2 nights each week, 48 hours every weekend
  • Annual pay $170,000 - $200,000
  • Approx. 2800-3000 total weekly miles. Generates approx $3300-$3500 weekly gross O/O revenues
  • O/O provides tag and IFTA sticker.Saddle Creek provide operating authority
  • Saddle Creek provides all trailers
  • Safety Bonus Program (up to $1,000 ) and Annual Retention Bonus($1,100)

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12 months experience driving a tractor trailer in the past 5 years
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Current DOT medical card -minimum 1 year medical card issued required
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Sleeper Truck required
  • Have your own base plate and IFTA
  • Pass a road test
  • Acceptable driving record per policy
  • Acceptable responses to previous Employment Verifications
  • Must pass drug, background check, and pre-employment tests
  • Meet all company standards and DOT requirements for vehicles and drivers
Responsibilities
  • Safely drive a commercial motor vehicle (tractor and trailer)
  • Value your safety,always comply with safety/operating policies and procedures
  • Work well independently, and in a team setting
  • Value a positive and respectful work environment
  • Understand that delivering to our customers on-time keeps our company viable
  • Complete deliveries on schedule and interface with customers effectively
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
  • Work cooperatively and productively with supervisors and other associates to complete tasks
  • Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
  • Perform and document pre and post trip inspections and complete all necessary paperwork
  • Verify order to ensure correct products loaded
  • All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain all DOT required licenses and documentation
  • Able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Adhere to DOT rules and regulations
  • Operate in a constant state of alertness, and safe manner
  • Safely get in and out of the cab on your own
