Join Our Team as an Optometrist at Kiowa Eye Care Center!

Do you love taking care of people's eyes and want to work in a friendly rural community just an hour away from Denver, CO? This full-time position from Monday to Friday means you get your weekends to yourself! Our office is equipped with the latest technology, including YAG and SLT laser treatments. We use Cirrus OCT, Optomap, iCare tonometry, Myah topography, and more. Our amazing staff provides top-notch assistance to every patient, allowing you to spend quality time with each person without rushing through exams!

Kiowa Eye Care Center is looking for a talented and dedicated Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist with us, you'll have the chance to make a real difference in our patients' lives by offering comprehensive eye care services like eye exams, pediatric eye care, emergency exams, and treatment for eye diseases. Join us in our mission to help our patients achieve optimal eye health and vision!

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Conduct eye exams and vision tests
  • Perform pre-testing procedures
  • Prescribe and fit contact lenses
  • Diagnose and treat eye diseases
  • Provide postoperative care for patients undergoing refractive surgery

Required Skills:

  • Doctor of Optometry degree
  • Experience in eye care and visual field testing
  • Proficiency in pre-testing techniques
  • Knowledge of optical coherence tomography
  • Ability to perform refraction accurately

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in cataract and LASIK co-management
  • Knowledge of low vision and prescription dispensing
  • Understanding of ocular disease management
  • Ability to provide patient recall services
  • Experience in primary eye care and postoperative care

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $150,000 per year
  • Health insurance, 401(k), tuition reimbursement
  • Holiday pay, paid time off
  • $30,000 per year bonus for student loan repayment
