Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Position Details: Nightshift 7p-7a including rotational weekends and holidays.

Unit Information: 7A
We offer a vast array of experiences and opportunities surrounding the care of hematology and oncology patients. We treat patients in all steps of their journey. This includes workup and initial diagnosis, middle of their treatment process, and end of life care as well. We administer chemotherapy almost daily and becoming certified is a requirement. Our patients also receive radiation, surgical interventions, and transfusions. They require med-surg skills such as wound care, drain care, tube feeding, and pain management. Our unit includes remote telemetry monitoring for up to 13 rooms. We provide end of life care including pain and secretion management. We work closely with the Hospice team to meet the needs of our patients as well as their loved ones.
