Job Title: RN Weekend Supervisor

Job Summary:

At Nyack Ridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, we are seeking an experienced RN Weekend Supervisor to provide clinical leadership during weekend shifts. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing all nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality resident care, and mentoring staff. Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff during weekend shifts

  • Ensure residents receive exceptional, compassionate, and individualized nursing care

  • Conduct regular clinical rounds and assess resident conditions

  • Respond promptly to changes in condition, emergencies, falls, admissions, and other clinical situations

  • Serve as the primary nursing leader and resource for staff during weekend operations

  • Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, incidents, and nursing reports

  • Monitor compliance with infection control practices, medication administration, and facility policies

  • Mentor and coach nursing staff while promoting teamwork and professional development

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State

  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience

  • At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care facility strongly preferred

  • Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and critical-thinking skills

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
