(Registered Profile Required) An opportunity is available for a medical oncology/hematology physician to join the medical staff in northern Illinois. This is a hospital employed position, practicing at two hospital based cancer centers. Call will be shared with three physicians, for a schedule of one evening per week and every third weekend. Radiation oncology and surgical oncology are both available, along with clinical research opportunities. The physician must have completed a three year fellowship in oncology and hematology. Physicians with experience is a plus. Palliative care experience is also a plus but not required. A comprehensive and competitive compensation package will be offered. With more than 340 physicians on staff and nearly 1200 employees, this organization provides a full range of healthcare services to the people of Lake County, Illinois. 45 miles to Chicago.
