This is a fantastic opportunity to perform environmental field monitoring at multiple sites in the Southern California region for up to three years. What You'll Be Doing:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n
• Compliance:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u> Perform landfill Perimeter and Working Face Air Monitoring in compliance with SCAQMD Rules 403 and 1150.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
• Data Management:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u> Prepare field notes, upload and summarize monitoring data, and coordinate with project managers.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
• Communication:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u> Participate in client meetings, effectively communicate project requirements, and explain your work.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
• <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Field Work:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u> Use testing equipment and special field apparatuses, interpret results, and ensure all tasks are performed safely and in compliance with regulations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
• Office Assistance:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u> Fill out paperwork, submit reports, and assist with general office tasks.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
• Judgment:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u> Exercise judgment on work details and apply standard methods for conventional work.<\/span><\/span> Professional Growth:<\/span><\/span><\/u> Potential to grow into a staff\-level position with training in asbestos and lead\-based paint certifications and environmental site assessment\/remediation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i>

  Requirements<\/h3>\n

  \n What You Need:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

  • Experience:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u> 1\-2 years of experience, preferably with a construction background.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Skills:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u> Proficiency in writing technical reports, basic math, mechanical skills, teamwork, and troubleshooting.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Tech Savvy:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u> Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and using air sampling equipment\/pumps.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Training:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u> Completed OSHA 40\-hour HAZWOPER training.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Safety Attitude:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u> Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of OSHA regulations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i>
