Job description

Hiring Immediately for Fire Watch Safety Associate Jobs in Williamsburg, VA:
Inergroup is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Fire Watch Safety Associate in Williamsburg, VA. In this role you will patrol a large warehouse facility by golf cart and on foot, identify and remove fire and safety hazards, document completed inspections, and communicate issues to management — all while keeping the facility safe and clean. All safety training is provided. Weekly pay starting at $20/hr and great benefits available!

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to walk long distances and remain active throughout the entire shift.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills — verbal and written.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills for inspection documentation.
  • Comfortable working independently for long hours with minimal supervision.
  • Prior fire safety experience is a plus — all training provided.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Complete assigned area coverage every hour by golf cart and on foot, identifying fire and safety hazards throughout the facility.
  • Identify and document potential fire-related hazards, obstacles, and safety concerns after each patrol round.
  • Remove obstacles or hazards as trained; use a two-way radio to communicate situations requiring management involvement.
  • Assist with cleanup and removal of debris in aisles and throughout the warehouse.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all areas completed and hazards found during each shift.
  • Work independently for extended periods while maintaining high attention to safety standards.

We have openings on multiple shifts and can help you choose the best shift for your schedule.  Current openings include 1st shift, 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekend shift.
