Fitness for Health is seeking passionate, energetic
Occupational Therapists (OTRs) and
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our growing team! We are an innovative outpatient practice specializing in
neurological, developmental, sensory, orthopedic, and visual rehabilitation through individualized, movement-based therapy. We are primarily interested in candidates with floating weekend availability, but additional weekday hours may be available as well.
Our therapists work one-on-one with children and adolescents presenting with a wide variety of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental coordination disorder, cerebral palsy, genetic syndromes, concussion, orthopedic conditions, executive functioning challenges, retained reflexes, visual processing deficits, and sensory processing differences.
If you enjoy combining neuroscience, movement, play, and creativity to help children reach their fullest potential, we'd love to meet you.

Our Treatment Philosophy
At Fitness for Health, we believe meaningful change occurs by addressing the
root causes of functional challenges—not simply compensating for them. Our therapists utilize a neurodevelopmental and evidence-based approach to improve:
- Motor planning and coordination
- Balance and postural control
- Primitive reflex integration
- Sensory processing and self-regulation
- Executive functioning
- Visual processing and visual-motor integration
- Strength, endurance, and body awareness
- Fine motor and handwriting skills
- Functional independence in daily occupations
Treatment sessions are active, engaging, and individualized, incorporating movement, play, therapeutic exercise, and technology to maximize neuroplasticity and motor learning.
Our Clinic
Fitness for Health offers therapists access to a unique treatment environment, including:
- Large therapeutic gym
- Interactive rehabilitation technology and exergaming systems
- Balance and vestibular equipment
- Functional strengthening equipment
- Visual-motor training tools
- Sensory integration equipment
- Private treatment rooms for fine motor and handwriting intervention
We encourage therapists to think creatively and utilize movement-based interventions that keep children motivated while targeting meaningful functional outcomes.
