Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a rewarding weekend position where you can combine hands-on nursing care with clinical leadership? Academy Mapleton Hill is seeking an experienced Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Assisted Living and Home Care programs.


This Nurse position is ideal for an experienced RN who enjoys a combination of resident care, staff education, quality improvement, and clinical oversight. As a Weekend Nurse, you'll partner with an experienced leadership team to provide exceptional care while helping residents maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.


What You'll Do as Our Weekend Nurse

As our Weekend Registered Nurse, you'll serve as a trusted clinical resource for residents, families, caregivers, and leadership while helping ensure our Assisted Living and Home Care services operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Colorado regulations.


This Nurse will:

  • Support clinical operations for our Assisted Living and Home Care programs.
  • Ensure resident care plans are accurate, individualized, and updated to reflect changes in condition and physician orders.
  • Monitor resident care to ensure services are delivered according to physician orders and care plans.
  • Provide day-to-day clinical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to caregivers and QMAPs.
  • Support medication administration practices and documentation standards.
  • Conduct chart audits and quality reviews to maintain excellent nursing practices.
  • Participate in resident assessments, move-ins, and interdisciplinary care planning.
  • Communicate with residents, families, physicians, pharmacies, hospice providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Support staff orientation, caregiver education, infection prevention, and competency evaluations.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure clinical supplies and nursing equipment are available and maintained.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Health Services, Clinical Nurse Manager, and Home Care Manager to support staffing and daily operations.
  • Participate in the Nurse on-call rotation and respond to clinical emergencies as needed.

  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license.
