Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides timely, safe, and effective nursing care in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures from the Department of Nursing Services.  What do our current nurses value at UHS? Job Opening Specifics:

TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT:  NOT TO EXCEED 14-WEEKS

WORK HOURS:  Day shift or Night shift is available.  Must be able to work three 12-hour shifts/per week, rotating weekends.  Work hours are 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am.

HOURLY RATE:  $60.00

NON-BENEFITS ELIGIBLE

NO RELOCATION STIPEND

NOTE:  Candidates employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months are not eligible.  Current UHS employees are not eligible.

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing. CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment.

Certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.

Work Hours: 6am 6pm, 6pm-6am rotating weekends
