Position: RN

Shift: 1st Shift (7am-3pm); 8 hours/week, every other Saturday & Sunday

Pay: Starting at $40-$48 dollars per hour base, pay increases based on years of licensure. Shift diff eligible.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The RN is responsible for administering high quality, accurate, and person-centered nursing care to all assigned residents on his/her shift. Tasks may include the accurate and timely administration of medications and treatments, observational and clinical documentation, assisting in emergency calls, and updating Supervisors of changes.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Assists in the supervision and direct care of residents and nursing personnel.
  • Administers direct care as assigned.
  • Gives and receives reports.
  • Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition.
  • Assists in developing comprehensive care plans

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut is required.
  • Current CPR and IV certifications are required.
  • Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing is required.
