How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Directed the end-to-end lifecycle of radioactive diagnostic agents—including ordering, preparation, and administration—maintaining 100% compliance with strict NRC and state regulatory protocols.

  • Engineered high-resolution diagnostic maps by expertly positioning patients and calibrating anatomic/technical factors, ensuring the highest level of image clarity for physician review.

  • Spearheaded departmental radiation safety initiatives, strictly adhering to ALARA principles and safety guidelines to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.

  • Managed the seamless submission of diagnostic data to PACS, ensuring meticulous accuracy in patient history, lead markers, and high-fidelity image quality for multidisciplinary diagnostic use.

  • Oversaw the technical integrity of complex imaging systems through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and the execution of safety "lock-out/tag-out" procedures to prevent departmental downtime.


What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Or credentialed from the Indiana State Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.


Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
