Job description

Registered Sonographer- Vascular (NRV) Flex/PRN (Open)

Come join the Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. We are conveniently located in the New River Valley, where you will enjoy hundreds of outdoor adventures, vibrant arts and cultural activities, University (RU and VT) sporting events, and a broad range of live music venues. This position will be utilized to help cover department needs during normal business hours, weekends, and holidays.

Job duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Carotid ultrasounds
  • Venous ultrasounds
  • Arterial ultrasounds
  • Renal ultrasounds
  • Take part in the training of students and staff as assigned.
  • Create a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families.

Experience: Vascular ultrasound experience preferred but not required. Licensure, certification, and/or registration RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography. ARDMS or CCI. CPR certification required.

Compensation Range: $33.52 - $50.28

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
