Overview

HealthDrive is seeking a Part-Time (2 Days/week) Optometrist to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Full Time (5 Days/week) HealthDrive Optometrists have opportunity for $175K + Per Year and the flexible stability everyone dreams of for their career!

*Currently offering $4,000 Sign On Bonus*

About Us:

With over 30 years of experience and established industry relationships in senior living environments, HealthDrive is the leading provider of Optometry services to residents of communities across the nation. Our Optometrists provide patient-centered care with white-glove concierge support from our Optometrist provider support team, based in Framingham, Massachusetts.

As an Optometrist with HealthDrive, you will provide exams, testing and a variety of optometry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities in a mobile fashion. You will guide us on your desired number of patients per day to maximize your income or achieve your Work Life balance! Current opportunities in the greater Cincinnati, OH Area.

Responsibilities

Role Overview & Responsibilities for Optometrist:

  • Conduct comprehensive exams, diagnose, treat and manage age-related ocular diseases, injuries and disorders of the eye.
  • Traditional daily patient care will also include vision testing and prescribing spectacle lenses.
  • Complete required patient and clinical documentation in our optometry electronic medical record system.
  • Responsible for applying proper coding guidelines and populating appropriate billing codes for services provided to patients.
  • Adheres to OSHA guidelines regarding patient care, disposal of materials, and sterilization of equipment.
Qualifications
  • Qualifications:
  • Optometry background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management and evaluation of eye conditions and disorders.
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use EMR, text, email, the internet and to learn other healthcare related software.
  • Self-starter attitude with the desire to deliver quality, thoughtful and attentive care.

Physical Requirements for Optometrist:

  • Ability to stand, to bend, and to lift.
  • Ability to transport optometry equipment (maximum of 15 lbs.).
  • May be occasionally required to transport patients in wheelchairs.

Education & Qualifications:

  • O.D.
  • Current State professional license.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Travel:

This is a mobile position. Daily travel is based on the patient care requirements for the specified service area; your Practice. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive significant distances on occasion is required.
