Job description

Big League Movers is seeking dedicated Movers who embody our core principle: the "Hardest Worker In The Room" attitude. This role is crucial for those who are eager to contribute to a team's success, assisting our Drivers in delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Qualifications
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
    • Possible exceptions for valid license for Movers only (non drivers)
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver 75+ lbs up and down stairs, doorways, and around other obstacles.
  • No Theft Charges or Felony Offense within the past 7 years
  • Must be 18+ Years Old (21+ requirement to drive)
  • Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends.
  • Be committed to providing superior customer service. A team player who is committed to getting the job done even if it means putting in longer hours.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a spotter for the Drivers while maneuvering the moving truck into tight spaces, ensuring safety and precision.
  • Prepare the job site while Drivers is meeting with the customer to set up the job for success from the start.
  • Assist in moving items and boxes, prioritizing careful handling and efficient transport.
  • Manage GPS and navigation to support the driver, ensuring distraction-free driving.
  • Participate in packing, pad wrapping, and prepping the job site while the Driver coordinates with the customer.
  • Contribute to detailed inventory checks and accountability of items before and after the move.
  • Uphold the highest standards of customer service, stepping in to assist with customer queries and concerns when needed.
  • Engage in continuous learning and skill enhancement to improve job performance.
  • Must follow all instructions and directions given from Driver.
