Job Title: Demolition Equipment Operator

Position Type: Full time, 1st shift Monday Friday, hours will vary between 40-50 per week, paid weekly.

Location: Cleves, OH (on-site) Must be local

Reports to Pre-construction Manager

We are looking for a Demolition Equipment Operator to join our growing team. Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced skilled Demolition Equipment Operator to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a keen eye for safety and the ability to perform efficient and effective demolition work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate demolition equipment to break down concrete, masonry and other materials
  • Prepare demolition sites by removing debris and ensuring the safety of the surrounding area
  • Collaborate with construction crews to ensure smooth and efficient demolition work
  • Inspect and maintain demolition equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Comply with all safety regulations and protocols while performing demolition work
  • Operate one or more of the following equipment and/or machines: dump truck, dozer, front-end loader, backhoe, motor grader, and excavator
  • Operate and perform preventative maintenance on various construction equipment including but not limited to hand tools, power tools, tamps quick cut saws, air hammers, mowers, etc
  • Perform heavy manual labor such as: digging, lifting, hauling, spraying, etc
  • Operate cement mixer, set concrete formwork, place, shovel, and finish concrete
  • Prepare surfaces for paving and shovel and spread asphalt
  • Perform routine maintenance to assigned equipment
  • Perform manual unskilled labor as required
  • Perform other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Demolition Equipment Operator
  • Traffic and highway safety rules and regulations, and of effective precautionary measures necessary to avoid accidents
  • Knowledge of demolition methods, equipment and safety regulations
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of construction-related software and OSHA regulations
