• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their mental health needs and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic strategies, utilizing evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.
• Provide therapy to a diverse range of populations, including individuals, couples, and families, adapting interventions to suit their unique circumstances and needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and secure.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, leveraging the expertise of various specialists.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current on best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

The mental health counselor will provide services to a diverse client base, including individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds. Many clients will be seeking assistance with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. • A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical context.
• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients.

• Familiarity and proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies.

• Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly desirable.
• Experience in telehealth services or online counseling practices.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
