Key Responsibilities- Operate Class A vehicles
- Ensure timely deliveries from distribution centers to retail locations, adhering to established guidelines
- Collect backhauls from various vendors and transport them back to distribution centers promptly
- Perform yard switching (trailer movement on-site) as required
- Maintain a professional demeanor and responsibility at all times
This is a full-time, year-round position with local routes, allowing you to return home every day.
Qualifications- Must be at least 21 years old
- Minimum of one year of truck driving experience or successful completion of an accredited truck driving program
- Possess a valid CDL-A license (must have or be able to obtain a Hazmat endorsement, as we are a certified Hazmat carrier)
- No moving violations within the past year
- No more than two moving violations in the last three years
- Provide a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) from the Michigan Secretary of State, dated within the last thirty days
- Successfully complete a road test conducted by our management, covering various factors over a distance of twenty miles
- Pass a DOT driver physical and a pre-employment drug screening
- Availability to work nights, days, weekends, and holidays
