Job description

APPLICANTS MUST RESIDE IN HAWAII


POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of Assistant Program Manager, Medical Receptionist performs administrative duties including reception duties, scheduling appointments and other clerical tasks as assigned. Medical Assistant Receptionist covers back office clinical duties. Position involves Saturday and Sunday Coverage, and holiday rotation. Remote position. Must be a Hawaii Tax Resident.

Location: MUST RESIDE in Hawaii, 100% Remote. 

This is a part time position, less than 20 hours per week. Saturday & Sunday 8am-4pm, with extended hours as required.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education/Training/Experience

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Medical assisting/office experience 

Preferred: 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree
  • Three (3) years medical assisting/office 
  • One (1) year working with mental health/substance use disorder clients.
  • Experience working with EPIC EMR

Skills Knowledge

Minimum: 

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology. 
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Comfortable using various forms of information and communication technology.

Preferred: 

  • Understands patient confidentiality laws (HIPAA) and medical information release procedures and laws.
