Job description

We are seeking two mid-level Desktop Tech's with Cisco IP phone deployment experience to join our team on a contract basis for a 12 month engagement . The successful candidates will play a key role in the deployment of Cisco voice solutions at our clients locations. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-profile project and contribute to the modernization of a critical healthcare infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and configure Cisco IP phones and other unified communications endpoints.

• Assist with the configuration and management of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).

• Implement and troubleshoot dial plans, voicemail, and hunt groups.

• Provide support for analog voice gateways and other legacy systems.

• Collaborate with the network and other teams on the ongoing network segmentation project.

• Perform basic troubleshooting of voice quality and connectivity issues.

• Create and maintain documentation for voice-related configurations and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).

• Familiarity with Cisco IP phones, both wired and wireless.

• Understanding of voice protocols such as SIP, H.323, and MGCP.

• Experience with analog voice gateways and POTS lines.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Role and Responsibilities: The primary responsibility will be deploying Cisco phones and performing basic voice services such as dial plan, voicemail, and hunt group customization. They will also be involved in basic troubleshooting and setting up shared lines.

Required Experience:

1. Cisco voice experience, specifically with Cisco Unified Communications Manager

2. Cisco Voice experience, specifically with physical and wireless telephones, voicemail, and analog systems.

3. A CCNA Voice certification or a couple of years of experience with Cisco voice is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
