Job description

PSCI-LIA, a fast-growing 8(a), SDVOSB, and woman-owned small business, is seeking a Receptionist and Administration Support for an upcoming contract.
Position Summary
Responsible for drafting and publishing content in support of the Army Recovery Care Program (ARCP). The ARCP manages the recovery and complex care for wounded, ill and injured Soldiers across all Army components. This role provides comprehensive strategic communications management support services to the ARCP headquarters in Arlington, VA.
Key Responsibilities
  • Author content for identified stakeholder categories and social media platforms.
  • Interview subjects on a wide range of topics relative to the U. S. Army Medical Command and ARCP.
  • Writing feature stories, public information, briefings, and social media, with the ability to ensure content across all platforms remains consistent with organizational communication strategy.
  • Assist with the development and publication of compelling, persuasive, audience-tailored content, including photography and videography.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications
  • 4 years of work experience
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust (NACI) clearance
  • Ability to work in-person at the ARCP Headquarters in Arlington, VA.

Required Experience
  • Expertise in various forms of content development such as writing for features, creative, public information, briefings, and social media
  • Experience interviewing subjects for content development.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, and Adobe.
  • Knowledge of AP writing style.

Preferred Experience
  • Prior military service
