Job Summary
Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Math Teacher to provide high-quality instruction in a college preparatory, faith-centered learning environment. The Math Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills, assessing student progress, and supporting the academic, personal, and spiritual growth of students. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong instructional practices, effective classroom management, and a commitment to the mission of Catholic education.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver rigorous mathematics instruction aligned with school, state, and Archdiocesan standards.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and achievement.
  • Teach assigned mathematics courses, which may include Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, or other courses as assigned.
  • Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
  • Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
  • Utilize technology and instructional resources to enhance student learning.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school personnel regarding academic progress and concerns.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, parent conferences, and school events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and student success.

Qualifications
