The Department of Biostatistics and Data Science seeks a faculty member at the assistant professor rank. This role focuses on collaborative research with investigators across KUMC's nationally recognized research centers, institutes, and cores as well as independent research. In addition, this position will contribute to the Department's educational mission through excellence in teaching and mentoring graduate students in biostatistics, data science, and related disciplines.Job Description:
Job Duties
  • Work as an independent biostatistician, providing collaborative research support related to statistical design, analysis, and dissemination to KUMC researchers and affiliates.
  • Teach biostatistics and data science courses for graduate and professional students.
  • Mentor graduate students.
  • Contribute to departmental and university service.
