Job description

Job Purpose:
- The Weekend Meals Delivery Driver at LIFECARE ALLIANCE is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of meals and other assigned items to clients in Central Ohio. This role involves utilizing a personal or company vehicle to provide essential services to our clients, contributing to their well-being and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver ordered meals and other assigned items to clients in Central Ohio using a personal or company vehicle.
- Check orders for accuracy, ensuring all meals and items are accounted for before departure.
- Count meals and beverages to ensure correct quantities are delivered.
- Load and deliver meals, cases of Ensure, written materials, client contribution envelopes, and other necessary items.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients to foster positive relationships.
- Navigate efficiently using a map or GPS to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating a vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with the team to report any issues or discrepancies encountered during deliveries.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed to support the delivery operations.

Required Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience:
- Experience in delivery services or a similar role
- Familiarity with Central Ohio's roadways and neighborhoods
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with older adults and handicapped individuals
- Previous work in a customer service-oriented role
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ownership of a reliable vehicle
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Acceptable driving record
- Adequate vehicle insurance
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and using a map or GPS for navigation
