Purpose of the Role
The Manufacturing Engineer provides technical leadership, direction and engineering support to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of construction hardware. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to support production and drive continuous improvement in quality, productivity, and cost.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning, developing, and implementing process and equipment improvements that support operational goals
  • Design and support modifications to machines, tooling, and plant equipment with a focus on accuracy, safety, and minimal disruption to production
  • Collect and analyze production data to ensure process improvements are effective and sustained
  • Identify and help implement measurable process improvements and cost reduction opportunities
  • Support production quality processes to improve throughput and reduce customer impact
  • Participate, lead and facilitate in continuous improvement activities and events focused on manufacturing efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the planning and designing of new products to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability
  • Stay informed on manufacturing technologies, processes, and industry trends
  • Ensure that the facility operates within all applicable legal, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Develop, document and maintain process plans and machine operating instructions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Compensation Information:
Annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Company considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
