Job description

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a high-growth CNC machining environment. This role will have ownership over daily manufacturing performance, production strategy, process improvements, and overall operational execution. The ideal candidate is a strong business-minded leader who is data-driven, process-oriented, and capable of taking full ownership of manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations, production performance, and operational priorities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, cost reduction, and throughput optimization
  • Analyze operational data, KPIs, and production metrics to identify opportunities and implement solutions
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to improve processes and execution
  • Develop and mentor production leadership teams while building a culture of accountability and ownership
  • Support strategic planning, capacity planning, and long-term operational growth initiatives
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements within a fast-paced CNC machining environment
  • Manage resources, workflow, and production priorities to meet customer expectations and business objectives
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from the shop floor to executive leadership


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven leadership experience managing manufacturing operations within a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment
  • Strong background leading production teams and driving operational initiatives
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, continuous improvement methodologies, and operational metrics
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make informed business decisions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence teams and drive change
  • Self-motivated, hands-on leader with a “figure it out” mentality and strong problem-solving skills
