Landscape Construction Project Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for supervising landscape construction projects by coordination of schedules to accommodate client needs and expectations. Provides the highest level of service to both internal and external clients. Delivering the landscape design outcome as envisioned by the client and sales team.

Job Duties:
- Review job packets and make sure the materials are ordered and ready for upcoming work orders
- Scheduling of jobs to assure we meet the established timelines as directed by the client as well as updates to the client as the project progresses
- Directing the field staff of expectations from the client and follow up to assure work is completed to client satisfaction
- Layout the jobs based on the design and site specifications
- Reviewing job reports of hours sold and hours used on jobs to keep jobs moving efficiently
- Document property issues and client concerns using photos, email, texts and any other ways to provide the correct information to the production team to assure timely and proper solutions
- Training of field crews to assure proper safety practices and job duties are being performed based on the company standards
- Reviewing of billing for clients to assure the accuracy of invoicing
- Performing various duties during the snow production season as needed
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the landscape construction industry
- Experience managing projects and supervising multiple crews
- Effective communication skills – must be able to carry out verbal instructions, read labels and signs, complete daily reports to office and/or customers
- Ability to use technology ie. Smart phones, laptops, software apps etc..
- Time management skills with the ability to create flexibility in project schedules and meet deadlines
- Understanding estimating and job specific hours and materials requirements
- Knowledge of landscape construction materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Work Conditions:
- Driving of vehicles and other equipment as needed
- Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
- Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work and possible nights during snow season
