Overview
Join our manfacturing team as a Weekend Machine Operator and become an integral part of our production process! This role is perfect for individuals who possess strong mechanical aptitude, and are eager to operate a variety of advanced machinery. As a key contributor, you'll ensure that our manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining the highest quality standards. If you're looking for a part-time job or a second job these weekend hours would work great!
Responsibilities
  • Operate a state of the art pulp molding machine
  • Monitor machine performance throughout the shift, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with fabrication and packaging as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Document production data accurately and communicate any operational concerns or machine issues to supervisors.

Requirements
  • Experience operating manufacturing machinery is a plus but not a requirement, we will train.
  • Experience with factory safety standards, materials handling (including forklift operation), assembly line processes, and packaging procedures a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting machinery issues.
