Manufacturing Operator – 12 Hour Shifts | Competitive Pay + Career Growth
As a Manufacturing Operator, you’ll help keep production running efficiently while ensuring product quality and workplace safety.
Pay & Shift Information
- 1st Shift (2-2-3 Schedule): $18.50/hour
- 2nd Shift (2-2-3 Schedule): $20.35/hour
- 12-hour shifts with built-in overtime opportunities
- Consistent rotating schedule offering work-life balance
Schedule Example (2-2-3)
You’ll work:
- 2 days on
- 2 days off
- 3 days on
Then rotate the following week.
This schedule gives you every other weekend off and built-in extended breaks throughout the month.
Responsibilities Include:
- Operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment
- Managing material flow and machine operation
- Performing product inspections and identifying defects
- Packaging, labeling, and verifying products
- Troubleshooting minor machine issues and reporting concerns
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas
- Supporting production changeovers and setups
- Following all safety, quality, and company procedures
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
This role is hands-on and active, perfect for individuals who enjoy staying busy and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods during 12-hour shifts
- Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, and move throughout the shift
- Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment
