What You'll Do
CNC Machining & Production (70%)
Set up CNC machines for production runs
Verify tooling, fixtures, and machine readiness
Validate programs and setup parameters
Machine components to precise specifications and tolerances
Monitor production quality and efficiency
Complete production documentation and reporting
Maintain organized and safe workstations
Programming, Setups & Process Improvement (15%)
Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam or similar CAM software
Improve machining processes, tooling strategies, and cycle times
Design and build fixtures when required
Support operators with setup and troubleshooting
Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and safety
Quality Control & Inspection (5%)
Perform first-article inspections
Conduct in-process quality checks
Verify parts meet engineering drawings and specifications
Maintain high quality standards throughout production
Team Support & Continuous Improvement (10%)
Participate in training and skill development
Assist team members as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Contribute ideas for process improvements
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of machining experience
CNC machining experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude
Excellent attention to detail
Strong math and measurement skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Red Seal Machinist Certification
Mastercam experience
CNC programming experience
Setup and process optimization experience
Experience working in a production manufacturing environment
