General Purpose: The Machine Operator fully operates and maintains the machine to meet production deadlines.
Essential Functions:
โ€ข Operate equipment in the most safe, efficient, and consistent manner
โ€ข Maintain machine workflow to meet project deadlines
โ€ข Read job tickets and initiate machine set-ups per job ticket specifications
โ€ข Count, pack, and label sleeves, cartons, and skids
โ€ข Perform preventive maintenance on machines as needed
โ€ข Ensure 6S practices are being followed
Qualifications:
โ€ข Experience with manufacturing equipment and machine maintenance
โ€ข High school diploma or G.E.D.
โ€ข Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
โ€ข Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience
โ€ข Intermediate computer skills
โ€ข Ability to work overtime as needed; overtime may be required during busy periods
