Job description

Tampa General Hospital is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology service. As a nationally recognized heart transplant center with a 24/7 APPled model, we provide comprehensive care for highacuity cardiac patients requiring advanced therapies.

This position is night shift with required rotation through weekends and holidays. Shift differentials apply.

  • Evaluate, admit, and manage patients with advanced heart failure and cardiogenic shock

  • Provide ICUlevel care, including invasive hemodynamic monitoring

  • Manage mechanical circulatory support devices (LVAD, IABP, Impella CP/5.5/RP Flex, ECMO)

  • Oversee chronic and acute inotrope therapy

  • Support pre and postoperative heart transplant patients

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

  • Experienced APP with Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant experience required or Cardiac ICU APP experience
