Job description

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Delivery Driver to support the daily distribution of meals and snacks to local schools. This role involves fulfilling assigned orders, accurately counting items loaded onto the delivery truck, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Operating a delivery truck on public roadways, the driver serves as a key part of the customer service experience for Revolution Foods.

Candidates must have a valid state-issued driver’s license, experience operating a 16-ft box truck, and a clean driving record.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver meals and snacks to assigned school sites based on daily delivery plans and routes
  • Verify daily routes and coordinate with dispatch regarding changes, delays, or road conditions
  • Load, pack, and accurately count all orders before departure according to company specifications
  • Safely operate a company delivery van/box truck on public roads
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and complete daily truck checks, including fuel levels
  • Maintain full operational control of the vehicle and exercise sound judgment while driving
  • Inspect food items for quality and perform spot checks during loading, delivery, and unloading
  • Ensure food safety standards are followed, including temperature checks for chilled products
  • Report any food safety or quality concerns to management immediately
  • Verify deliveries, obtain signatures, and complete all required delivery documentation
  • Track and report any shortages, rejections, or discrepancies
  • Communicate professionally with school staff and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional demeanor at all times
  • Follow all food safety, workplace safety, and PPE requirements
  • Use delivery equipment safely, including pallet jacks, dock plates, straps, pallets, and related tools
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the delivery vehicle and equipment
  • Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or property damage immediately
  • Support loading, unloading, additional routes, and other operational tasks as needed

What you Bring

  • Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience operating a 16’ box truck or similar vehicle
  • Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a driving test, background check, TB test, and drug screening
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and handling requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and documentation
  • Ability to work early morning, flexible schedules, and varied shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage assigned routes
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Work Environment 

  • Fast-paced, route-based delivery environment supporting school sites and customer locations
  • Work performed in delivery vehicles, warehouse settings, and at school sites
  • Exposure to refrigerated, chilled, and occasional freezer conditions
  • Routine exposure to varying weather conditions, including hot, cold, and wet environments
  • Physically active role requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting, loading, and unloading
  • Frequent use of delivery and warehouse equipment
  • Routes and schedules may change based on business needs, with assigned timeframes for completion

Base Pay 

  • $19.50 USD per hour
