Job Overview:
The Tear Down Technician should possess a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:

  • Assemble blowers and exhausters according to blueprints.
  • Work with the Engineering Department and the Quality Assurance Department to troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Apply standard work practices.
  • Follow all safety rules, environmental regulating procedures and utilize required safety equipment when appropriate.
  • Adhere to 6s (5s) principles, clean, organize, and properly store all equipment.
  • Operate Crane and Fork Truck to move equipment and parts (training and certification provided by the company).
  • Operate machinery and hand tools as necessary.


Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • 1+ years of experience with assembly experience


Core Competencies:

  • Ability to use various power (Pneumatic) hand tools (i.e.; power screwdriver, socket etc.)
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality assembly work, demonstrating attention to detail and adherence to standards.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive lifting/carrying of up to 20 lbs


Preferences:

  • HS Diploma or GED preferred. Higher Education or certificate is a plus.


Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based 100% onsite at our Moody, AL facility
