American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Silverton, Oregon.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an ER RN with 2+ years of specialty experience, EPIC proficiency, and an active or pending Oregon RN license for a 13-week contract.

Details
  • Emergency Department setting
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Day and evening shifts available (3x12 hours), with potential shift time changes based on patient volume trends
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday coverage required as needed outside of approved RTO, on a rotating schedule
  • Floating required within site and across the health system
Requirements
  • Active Oregon RN license or proof of application and fingerprinting required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
  • TNCC or ATCN certification required
  • NIHSS and TNCC preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of ER specialty experience required
  • EPIC EMR experience required, including completion of an Epic Test-Out Module
  • One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required, preferably within the last year
  • No felony convictions accepted
Additional Information
  • Provide emergency department nursing care across a variety of acute patient presentations
  • Must complete any assigned education within one week of starting the assignment
  • Mandatory low census cancellation policy: shifts may be cancelled with at least 1.5 hours notice, up to once per two-week pay period without penalty
  • Failure to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
  • Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
  • All RTO requests must be submitted with the application
  • Local candidates are not accepted
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from any Legacy facility
  • Former Legacy staff must have been separated from the facility or system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • COVID vaccination required with no exemptions
