Job description

Landscape Crew Leader (Step-Up Opportunity)
Newington, CT | Galecki Landscaping

Are you an experienced landscaper carrying the weight of your crew, but not getting the title or the pay? It’s time to step up. We are looking for a proactive, hands-on driver who is ready to take charge, run a tight site, and make the guys around them better.
The Deal:

  • Pay: $22.00 – $25.00/hr + Yearly Raises.
  • Gear: Late-model Scags/Exmarks. Full-time mechanic on staff.
  • Schedule: Mon–Fri, 40+ hours. Weekends are for you.
  • Winter: Mandatory "On-Call" snow work.
What It Takes:

  • Ready to Lead: You don't need previous "Foreman" experience, but you need to be accountable and willing to lead by example. You will own the job quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Pro Driver: Valid License and DOT Medical Card (or ability to get one before starting). You must be able to back up a truck and loaded trailer with confidence.
  • The Skills: 18+ months of pro landscaping. You know how to run zero-turns, landscaping tools, and execute high-quality site work. Working for your uncle or your cousin on the weekend or at night doesn't count.
  • The Details: Handle a small amount of daily job sheets accurately, check quality of the work before leaving a job site.
The Standard:

  • Show Up: 90-day "No-Show" probation. Miss a day in your first 3 months, you are done.
  • Be a Professional: We are a team of adults. We maintain a drug-free culture and enforce post-accident testing. Bring your A-game, not your excuses.
Ready to get to work? Fill out the application directly on this site to apply.
