Maintenance Technician – Apartment Community
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $24–$26/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time Hours

TDL Staffing is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day repairs, upkeep, and unit turnovers at an apartment community in Anchorage. This is a great opportunity for someone with practical maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working independently, and handling a variety of repair and property upkeep tasks.

In this role, you’ll help maintain apartment homes, buildings, common areas, and grounds while responding to routine maintenance needs and assisting with emergency issues when required. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, customer-focused, and comfortable moving between different types of maintenance work throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout apartment homes, buildings, and common areas
  • Support unit turnovers, including cleaning, painting, repairs, and appliance checks
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety/security systems
  • Repair and maintain interior elements including flooring, drywall, and appliances
  • Maintain property systems, equipment, and work areas in safe working condition
  • Paint interior and exterior surfaces as needed
  • Assist with landscaping and exterior upkeep, including sweeping, yard work, and snow removal
  • Maintain tools and workspaces in a clean and safe condition
  • Respond to on-call and after-hours maintenance needs, including weekends and holidays, as part of the emergency maintenance rotation
  • Assist with additional property maintenance needs as assigned

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance role; property maintenance experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Proof of insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to wear a respirator when required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Background screening is a part of the hiring process
  • May be required to supply basic hand tools
