What jobs pay 2000 a day?

Jobs like high-level landscaping drivers, such as specialized or contract drivers working for large landscaping companies, can sometimes pay around $2,000 a day, especially if they handle large projects or work in high-demand areas. These roles often require extensive experience, specialized skills, and sometimes certifications, and may involve long hours or working on complex, high-value projects.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A weekend landscaping driver typically earns below $10,000 a month, as most driving jobs in landscaping pay hourly or per project and do not reach that level without significant experience or additional income sources. High-paying driving roles, such as commercial truck drivers or delivery drivers for large companies, can approach or exceed $10,000 monthly with overtime, certifications, and a full-time schedule, but these often require specialized licenses or training. Generally, earning $10,000 a month without a degree involves roles in sales, entrepreneurship, or skilled trades rather than entry-level driving jobs.

Is $100 an hour too much for landscape work?

For a weekend landscaping driver, $100 an hour is above the typical rate, which usually ranges from $20 to $50 per hour depending on experience, location, and job complexity. High rates may be justified for specialized skills, heavy equipment operation, or urgent, premium services. It's important to consider local market rates and the driver's experience when evaluating pay rates.

Job description

Work the way you want. With leadership that trusts you, benefits that benefit you, and teammates who pull together and get stuff done.
We equip and support local farms, homeowners, and landscapers with the tractors, mowers, parts, and service that keep their operations running strong. We hire people we can trust, then give them room to work, back them with training, and reward them with strong benefits, raises, and bonuses. With this position, we are continuing to grow and adding to our team. You'll help us keep lawn & garden equipment running strong to support homeowners and landscaping professionals who maintain beautiful outdoor spaces. You'll help us keep agricultural equipment running strong to support the farmers and operations that support our communities.
What You'll Get To Do

  • Keep tractors, mowers, and agricultural equipment running strong, diagnosing, repairing, and fine-tuning to prevent downtime during critical farming seasons.
  • Handle both big mechanical jobs and small details that speed up repairs, avoid wasted parts and labor, ensure peak performance and safety, prevent costly breakdowns, and extend equipment life.
  • Work on all systems, including engines, hydraulics, electrical, and transmissions, plus farm implement repairs that keep operations moving.
  • Communicate with the parts team to avoid delays and maintain records that make future service smoother.
  • Keep customers happy and farming operations moving by making sure equipment is reliable and field-ready.
About You
  • You've got 3+ years of experience performing service repairs on agricultural equipment, or you're someone with strong technical and mechanical skills willing to learn a lifelong trade.
  • You have proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in agricultural equipment repair. Fuel injection, electronic governor, welding, and fabrication experience are all a plus.
  • You take pride in keeping things safe, accurate, and built to last, but don't take yourself too seriously.
  • You've got a valid NYS driver's license and can operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
Even Better, But Not Required
  • Basic Service Technician certification
  • Diesel engine certifications or experience servicing
Typical Schedule
Monday - Friday (some weekends as needed). Start and end times can fluctuate based on workload, but typical times are 7:00 am - 4/5:00 pm.
What's In It For You
Workplace Culture & Management Style
  • No micromanagement. Just clear expectations, trust, and backup when you need it.
  • Open-door leadership from your manager to the owner.
  • People who've got your back and won't let you fail.
  • We don't take ourselves too seriously. You'll find room for a laugh, whether it's in the shop or at a company event.
  • Company donations and support for causes employees care about.
Flexibility & Growth
  • Schedule flexibility to support personal commitments when possible.
  • Opportunities for growth across a wide range of equipment and customers.
  • Support for ongoing training, education, certifications, and development.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Yearly raises and bonuses for cost-of-living and merit.
  • 401K plan with discretionary matching contributions (typically 50-100% match up to 6%).
  • 100% company-paid single medical plan (employee pays for dependents) with $50 per week contribution to HSA for high-deductible medical plan participants.
  • Low-cost dental & vision insurance.
  • $50,000 life insurance, AD&D, and LTD fully covered by the company starting day one.
  • Paid uniforms and annual tool and boot allowance.
Time Off & Leave
  • Vacation for full-time employees:
    • 1 week after 1 year
    • 2 weeks after 2 years
    • 3 weeks after 5 years
  • 40 hours paid sick leave and 7 holidays

We are committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within our workplace and creating an environment where all individuals feel valued, respected, and supported.
