C.J. McCarthy Landscape is a full service landscape construction and property maintenance company based out of Cohasset, MA. We continue to grow with high demand and are looking for career focused individuals to join our landscape construction team. Ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:

Significant experience in landscape masonry and hardscape; to include proper knowledge of excavation, compaction and installation of patios and walkways using different types of material (pavers, bricks, natural stone), retaining and natural fieldstone walls, pool decking and coping, reclaimed granite, cobble stones, stone veneer, steps, natural and gas firepits, fireplaces, outdoor kitchens (not all required). Ability to work with a landscape design for site development, grading, drainage, and lawn and plant install. We do a lot of new home construction work so these jobs would include the entire landscape and hardscape install.

Experience operating skid steer and mini excavators (hoisting license required. Can be attained through company if needed), medium duty dump trucks and trailers, operating various tools and equipment, to include compactors, saws, levels, etc.

Strong leader, good teacher, ability to manage several employees and delegate responsibilities, ability to put together a schedule and operating plan, social skills to interact with customers and vendors, career focused in the landscape construction industry. Financial understanding of a budget a plus. Day to day tasks primarily include not only leading but working with crews. Job sizes typically range from $10k to $250k+
