COMPANY PROFILE

Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

SUMMARY

The Skilled Labourer assists the work group in a variety of ways including grinding, material handling, or other duties as needed. This work is primarily outdoors and may be physically demanding.

JOB DUTIES

  • Comply with PSC and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
  • Assisting tradesmen in completing daily duties
  • Sorting and selecting tools, as requested by journeymen
  • Acting as fire/spark watch for welders
  • Load and unload materials as required
  • Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
  • May perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working on an industrial site is considered an asset, but not required
  • CSO
  • OSSA Fire Watch is considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to work well in a team environment
